Proactive Knowledge

In order to be able to support the user, the smart products require knowledge about themselves, the users and their environment. This knowledge is stored in the proactive knowledge base which is associated with a reasoner to gather new knowledge. Further, we are investigating whether smart products require a lightweight fusion component which is able to dissolve conflicts in the knowledge base, respectively. Thus, it depends on the analysis of requirements gathered in the second phase of the project whether this component will be realized
